For our February meeting Radu Gavrila will present Tapping into Business Data using SharePoint Technologies.  This topic will include:

·         Using SQL Server Analysis Services for presenting business data

·         Creating Ad-Hoc reports using SQL Server’s Reporting Services Report Builder

·         Drilling into data with Performance Point Server 2007

Radu is the lead instructor and owner of LANtech Training, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Learning Solutions training center based in Indianapolis, IN. He started his technology career in 1990, advancing from computer technician to owning an integration and consulting company in his home country of Romania. While in the U.S., he decided to focus on Microsoft technologies, especially around Active Directory, Messaging and Collaboration. He started as an instructor for LANtech, which he eventually acquired. Radu enjoys teaching advanced level Windows Server, Exchange Server and SharePoint Technologies classes at LANtech and away. He speaks frequently at events organized by LANtech and partners or user groups. When he finds time, he enjoys playing violin, guitar or piano. He speaks 4 languages and whenever possible, travels to Europe to reconnect with friends and family or enjoy a sunny day on the French Riviera.
